Evans is passionate about social development issues and youth empowerment. His passion was fueled through internships with Institute of Developmental Studies; Population Studies Institute; and World Vision Kenya. These work experiences coupled with his volunteer activities with nonprofits like Hope Worldwide expanded his understanding of Kenya’s societal ills and inspired him to pursue a career that would allow him to address social issues in his country. After graduating from the University of Nairobi in 2006, Evans joined the Kenya Education Project as its Program Coordinator. He has infused much zeal and enthusiasm into the Kenya Education Project. Evans holds a certificate in counseling from the Community Counseling and Training Center and a team building certificate from The Dan Eldon Place of Tomorrow (DEPOT). He is also a member of The Kenya National Youth Development Initiative, a youth advocacy organization. Evans enjoys board games especially chess, computing, reading, socializing, and assembling desktop computers. Evans hails from Busia District located in the Western Province of Kenya.
