If you missed Karamu 2005, you missed an incredible event!
Read about Karamu 2005 in the AEP News Room. Africa Education Project hosts African celebrations in the US to raise money for the AEP Scholarship Fund. The party fundraisers are called "Karamu," which simply means "party or festival" in Kiswahili. Karamu is the Africa Education Project's signature fundraising event. 100% of the profits from Karamu celebrations ALWAYS directly support the education of deserving young people in Africa through the AEP Scholarship Fund. Karamu events usually include dinner, show and after-party.
Africa Education Project is interested in partnering with other organizations to produce Karamu events. If your organization is interested in partnering with AEP for Karamu 2006 or if you simply want to learn more about Karamu, please call 504-220-5017 or email karamu@africaeducationproject.org
