Thank you for your interest in Karamu online ticket sales. This is the Africa Education Project’s second year of online ticket sales. We want to make obtaining tickets to the Karamu African Celebration as easy as possible for you. Visa, Master Card and Discover are accepted.
Tickets are priced as follows and includes dinner, show and party:
Adults: $15
College Students/Teens: $10
Children: $5

Africa Education Project uses Click and Pledge for ticket sales. The transaction will be easy, fast and most of all secure. "Click and Pledge" will be listed on your credit card bill not "Africa Education Project" or "Karamu African Celebration."
A portion of your ticket price may be tax-deductible as allowed by law. The amount tax deductible will be recorded on your receipt which you will receive by email.
You can receive your tickets electronically or by mail. Electronic tickets will be emailed to you by midnight on the day you order your tickets. You must bring your electronic ticket to the event to gain entrance. If you lose your ticket, please call 504-220-5017 or email karamu@africaeducationproject.org. Tickets by mail will be charged a shipping fee and will be mailed within two days of your order date to your credit card billing address.
It is important to Africa Education Project that our events are affordable to low income residents. If you are able, AEP requests that you consider making a donation toward the cost of a ticket to Karamu 2005 for low-income youth in the Triangle area. Of course, we also accept donations in honor of this event even if you cannot attend. You will be given an opportunity to donate during your online transaction.
If you do not feel comfortable with online ticket sales. We are more than happy to oblige you with a call-in order at 504-220-5017. Your call-in tickets can either be mailed or emailed to you.
All profits from Karamu directly benefit young people in Africa.
